We are looking for an experienced Door Handles Development Engineer to lead the end-to-end development of automotive door handle systems (interior & exterior) for current production programs.
- Lead suppliers through full product development lifecycle
- Drive design to production readiness (PPAP, validation, release)
- Perform CAD reviews in CATIA V5/V6
- Conduct tolerance analysis & coordinate CAE verification
- Lead DFMEA, DVP&R, DOE, and problem-solving activities
- Ensure milestone delivery and production tooling readiness
- 5+ years in mechanisms development (handles/latching preferred)
- Strong knowledge of plastics, steels, molding, stamping & casting
- Experience with PPAP & automotive validation processes
- Hands-on experience with CATIA & tolerance analysis tools
- Strong supplier coordination & cross-functional collaboration skills
