Key Responsibilities
- Experience with manufacturing processes stamping welding
- Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive product development or VAVE/cost engineering.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems:
Underbody and exhaust parts. Excellent knowledge of sheet metal part design - Experience with manufacturing processes (Stamping , welding, part assembly).
- Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and PLM systems.
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Familiarity with Ford systems and processes (GPDS, WERS, AIMS).
- Strong supplier collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Experience in teardown benchmarking and cost workshops.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Communication and stakeholder management
