Job Description

Position: PLM Data Migration Engineer (Dearborn, MI). The role involves designing and developing an AI‑driven PLM data migration framework to transform and load Teamcenter data into the 3

DEXPERIENCE platform, ensuring data integrity and automating the resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Java‑based migration utilities to extract data from SOA/middleware APIs and load into the target system.
Build and maintain a middle data layer (e.g., a Mongo

DB staging database) for transformation and validation.
Design AI/ML or rule‑based automation to detect and resolve data issues such as attribute mismatches, structure gaps, and metadata conflicts.
Implement data mapping logic between Teamcenter data models and 3

DEXPERIENCE unified data structures.
Work with XPDM frameworks for integration and data exchange into 3

DEXPERIENCE.
Develop CAA (C++/Java) components for handling complex CAD and metadata structures.
Consume Teamcenter SOA APIs to extract PLM objects, BOMs, and CAD datasets.

Required Skills

4+ years in PLM or data engineering.
At least one end‑to‑end PLM migration project completed.
Strong problem‑solving ability for edge‑case data scenarios.
Ability to combine backend engineering with automation/AI concepts.
Strong Java (Core, multithreading, REST APIs).
PLM data migration experience.
Python for AI/ML or data processing (Pandas, Scikit‑learn, or LLM‑based tools).
Experience with PLM data modeling and transformations.
Understanding of CAD structures (BOMs, item revisions, datasets).

Preferred Skills

C++ or CAA development experience.
Prior experience with Teamcenter to 3

DEXPERIENCE migration.
Experience with ENOVIA/XPDM frameworks.
Exposure to AI‑driven data cleansing or automation pipelines.
