In this critical role, you will manage multiple high-impact responsibilities, from delivering scalable server designs and automation scripting to providing global L3 server hardware support and conducting root cause forensic analysis. You will take the lead on FMEA testing, standards documentation, global server firmware management, server hardware automation, and rigorous server and component testing. IT Infrastructure Engineer - Global Server Hardware & Automation
Key Responsibilities:
Global Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide Global L3 hardware support and conduct in-depth root cause forensic analysis for complex server issues.
Subject Matter Expert (SME):
Serve as the global SME for OOB management, i.e.HPE iLO and HPE One View.
Automation Leadership:
Act as the Automation Lead, driving scripting initiatives and automated server configurations to streamline operations. Assist and guide application owners in automating the application testing and certification process.
Firmware Management:
Oversee firmware updates, firmware update methodologies, and firmware version management across our entire global server fleet.
Systems Engineering & Testing:
Deliver robust server designs, lead FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) testing, and manage server and component testing. Lead projects related to server hardware such as trusted SSL certificates across the fleet, or MFA initiatives
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive standards documentation and user documentation for OOB management
Team Development:
Mentor and guide other team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
