Design Release Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead, review, and approve Subframes Structure designs, ensuring delivery to component engineering specifications and vehicle requirements. The ideal candidate will resolve all durability, assembly, and functional issues, and provide technical mentorship through regular information exchanges.

• Experience in Design and Release Engineering for Subframes and Tow Hooks, with responsibility for forward model development, release, and through launch.
• Strong focus on delivering robust designs and avoiding failure modes by applying engineering disciplines such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Perfect Drawing Plan, and Engineering Specifications.
• Leadership in design to meet vehicle attributes including package, crash, durability, commercial upfitting, and thermal management.
• Prior work experience in the automotive industry or related field.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• 3 years of experience in frames or structures Design and Release.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Lead and approve Subframes Structure designs.
• Resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues.
• Mentor and guide peer engineers through Technical Club forums.
• Deliver focused Material Cost Reduction, Warranty reduction, and benchmarking initiatives.
