Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the aforementioned worksite. Lead side door systems and architecture for vehicle development programs. Interface component and manufacturing skill teams to develop side door systems that deliver attribute performance. Lead the integration of side door components into Ford systems, while maintaining engineering responsibility for the side door structure.

Lead design and release phases of the side door systems and perform issue resolution when engineering problems arise. Provide launch support involving new Ford architecture designs. Lead the implementation of new architecture strategies and provide closed loop feedback to update side closures engineering standards and system requirements.
