Systems Engineer Calibration

Akkodis is seeking a Systems Engineer Calibration for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of emissions systems for ICE, HEV, and PHEV platforms to meet stringent regulatory standards.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $42/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Systems Engineer Calibration Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and integration of emissions systems for ICE, HEV, and PHEV applications ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (SULEV).
• Define system architecture and perform cross-functional trade-off analysis across mechanical, electrical, and chemical domains.
• Apply systems engineering principles including DFMEA, boundary diagrams, and P-diagrams to ensure robust and reliable designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize emissions performance, durability, and thermal management strategies.
• Support testing, validation, and regulatory compliance activities for emissions systems.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and technical coordination across multiple engineering work streams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related Systems Engineering field (Master's/PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in propulsion or emissions system design and integration.
• Strong expertise in emissions regulations, systems engineering tools (DFMEA, P-diagrams), and integration across ICE, HEV, and PHEV platforms.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives, optimize system performance, and manage compliance, validation, and project delivery.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
