What you'll do...
eDrive PCB Layout and Validation Engineer would be responsible for designing the PCB layout for traction inverter applications and validate the design through analysis, simulation and physical testing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading complex layout projects
* Capture the PCB design requirement through electrical circuit design review and mechanical design review.
* Design the PCB layout considering thermal management, signal routing, and mechanical constraints. Optimizing the layout for signal integrity, power integrity, and impedance control.
* Work with cross functional product development teams in supporting product development.
* Verifying the layout meets electrical and manufacturing specifications using automated design rules.
* PCB footprint and schematic symbol creation and verification.
* Maintain library of all schematic symbols, footprints and part types
* Conduct Signal integrity analysis and Power integrity analysis.
* Working closely with electrical engineers to address design concerns and incorporate feedback throughout the layout process.
* Creating detailed layout documentation for manufacturing and assembly
* Collaborating with testing engineers to test and verify the PCB layout through prototype builds and electrical validation processes.
