Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive product development or VAVE/cost engineering.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems:
Powertrain (engine, Transmission, driveline and clutch etc) - Experience with manufacturing processes (injection molding, part assembly).
- Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and PLM systems.
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Familiarity with Ford systems and processes (GPDS, WERS, AIMS).
- Strong supplier collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Experience in teardown benchmarking and cost workshops.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
