In this position...
As part of the Vehicle Evaluation and Verification division, the Simulation Engineer is responsible for developing state-of-the-art simulation systems, such as Hardware in the Loop (HIL), for automotive validation testing. The position requires a highly motivated engineer who is interested in validating cutting edge automotive technology in a unique fashion.
Responsibilities include creating or updating simulation models, configuring and updating existing test systems (dSpace and National Instruments (NI) simulators, for example) for systems validation testing. In addition, the engineer will develop new test systems for new and emerging automotive technologies across a wide product portfolio.
HIL simulation platforms still have tremendous untapped potential in the automotive industry. We are pushing the limits of HIL systems to deliver unmatched vehicle testing to improve vehicle performance and quality for all electric vehicles, next generation hybrids, and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) products now and in the future. You will be on the cutting edge of new testing technologies and techniques utilizing HIL and simulation platforms.
