Responsibilities
What you'll do...
As a Constraint Management Specialist, you will ensure production targets and program timelines are met by proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating supply base constraints. You will partner cross-functionally to drive resolution strategies, improve processes, and support operational excellence. Identify and analyze supply base constraints impacting launch timelines, free demand, and production plans
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Powertrain Production Planning, Plants, Vehicle Line teams, Purchasing, PLM, PD, FCSD, and other stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies
- Track and report weekly metrics (ICA/PCA timing), using data trends to drive continuous improvement
- Lead constraint management best practices using systems such as MCPV, SAC, Pega, Ascent, and CMMS3
- Communicate risks, progress, and outcomes to leadership via Global Constraints & Allocation Committee (GCAC) and NA Constraints & Production Plan forums
- Proactively identify supplier capacity risks using Ascent and Pega tools
- Conduct PPC audits to validate supplier supportability to production plans
- Support capacity studies and supplier readiness for volume increases
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree required
- Working knowledge of S&OP, and S&OE processes
- Experience with GCP/MCPV, SAC, Pega, Ascent, and CMMS systems
- Understanding of product definition and constraint management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and drive consensus
- Proven project management skills, including timing and risk mitigation
- Ability to align work to broader program objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable, self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate on-site 4 days per week in Dearborn
- Master degree
- MP&L or Purchasing experience preferred

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
