Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible to assist VO and PTO plants to achieve the Next Level in Quality by Teaching, Coaching and Leading the implementation and maintenance of the Launch Readiness QOS, including procedures, strategies, and processes. Individual will be interfacing with VME/PTME Management, Plant Management, Quality Departments and Production Management as well as supporting organizations.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do...
- Driving the Launch Readiness processes by understanding and communicating all launch QOS quality information and data. This includes robust DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plan assessments and providing feedback to process owners.
- Track and Report MWR to Launch Managers
- Conduct Launch Readiness Reviews/Coaching, support New Model Launch Milestone and report outs.
- Maintain and update Coach LRCA Action Decks and Executive Summaries.
- Ensure standardized global implementation of the LQOS, through adherence to the GPDS/GQIP/QPIP processes and standards.
You will have...
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Can-Do positive attitude
- Strong Vehicle and Engine Manufacturing Knowledge in Machining and Assembly
- Weekly travel to VO and Powertrain Plants will be required. Due to the nature of this job, overnight travel maybe required.
- In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Runoff Requirements.
- In-depth knowledge in FMA, i.e., DFMEA/PFMEA, SCCAF and Control Plans
- VME/PTME Manufacturing/Manufacture and Quality experience.
- Demonstrate an understanding of GPDS milestone/deliverables from MR – Job1
- Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral) within all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in MS Office Software PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and A.I Tools

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
