In this position we are seeking motivated professionals with a passion for excellence in Manufacturing, Problem Solving, and driving robustness into the APD/PTME Engineering factory. This position reports to the APD/PTME Delivery team Program Manager as a Delivery Program Leader. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of PTME program deliverables and will be leading PTME launch teams through all phases of Manufacturing Program Delivery from the early cost study phase through rate of climb (ROC).

- Lead new program teams to provide Program Engineering deliverables from Program Strategy through completion of Rate of Climb (ROC), working with all engineering groups within Powertrain Delivery (APD)/Manufacturing Engineering (PTME)/Battery Manufacturing Engineering (BME), Manufacturing Strategy & Advanced Planning (MSAP), Ford Land, Industrial Engineering, Product Engineering, Supplier Technical Assistance, Powertrain Plants and Purchasing.
- Lead site‑based engineers throughout the delivery of equipment to production readiness.
- Establish and track timing of commodity team deliverables to meet program milestones (Balkan, OPIC, MIDAS).
- Ensure weekly New Model program safety walks are conducted from the beginning of facility activities through the commissioning phase of all new model process and process support equipment.
- Identify and coordinate program resource requirements both Ford Internal & External.
- Participate in new program studies with MSAP from Program Approval in conjunction with PD and Powertrain Strategy Business Office (PSBO), input delivery activity costs, and coordinate fund inputs from other groups.
- Prepare Program Review, Executive Program Business Review (P ), material and deliver PTME related content at these reviews per the Program Management procedure.
- Attend Transmission/Engine/Axle Product Management Teams (TPMT/EPMT) meetings as the primary manufacturing interface for PTME/BME to ensure component product management processes function properly to achieve objectives.
- Lead resolution of major manufacturing program issues, change control and achievement of program objectives with other organizations (Product Development, Finance, Planning, STA, OEMs and External Purchase suppliers).
- Develop and implement a standard detailed program timing management tool that supports the needs of lead process engineers with roll‑up capability to support program management.
- Coordinate manufacturing input into program tracking tools (e.g., LQOS Charts, Program MS Project Timing File, Global 15 panel/10 Panel/MR, Major Program Status & Issues, Integrator, Indicated Cost, P /EP ).
- Drive completion of all phases of MIDAS machine approvals from the relevant engineers, support teams and plant operations.
- Incorporate continuous improvements utilizing PTME Continuous Improvement / Lessons Learned, Deviation and Decision Record Process.
- Travel to Powertrain Manufacturing Plants will be required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in high‑volume production or manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing Engineering with plant‑floor experience required.
