Product Engineer – Electrical & Electronic Systems (TPMS)
OverviewWe are seeking a Product Engineer to support the development of Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) hardware, software, and system components. The role involves product design, system validation, design reviews, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of TPMS hardware, software, and system components.
- Work with the lead engineer to manage assigned components and technical requirements.
- Participate in and lead design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Develop and review quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and certification requirements, including FMVSS, ECE, RF certification, and homologation.
- Support receiver module packaging to optimize RF performance.
- Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) for TPMS on bench, Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL), and vehicle testing.
- Track engineering issues and support issue resolution through product launch.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system interfaces and manufacturing requirements are met.
- Support supplier activities, design reviews, and product launch activities as needed.
- Perform application testing and product validation activities.
- Support configuration parameter verification and release activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing and testing automotive electrical systems, including hardware, software, and system‑level components.
- Experience developing and executing Design Verification Plans (DVP).
- Experience with Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing.
- Knowledge of automotive regulatory requirements, including FMVSS and ECE.
- Experience with quality documentation and engineering validation processes.
- Experience using JIRA for issue tracking.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer.
- Experience with wireless technology development or testing.
