In this position you will be responsible for delivering the brake NVH performance for the program(s) you are assigned to. In your role as a noise champion, you will lead a team of suppliers, CAE, D&R and brake development engineers to develop the brake NVH attribute to meet Ford requirements. NVH development at Ford is tied to GPDS timing. We start with CAE in the UNV0-2 phases, progress to dyno testing on the corner dynamo meters at TPV and continue to final signoff on DCV vehicles for PEC.
Brake NVH Core Engineer
* Lead the brake NVH development activities for assigned program(s)
* Develop test plans, manage test parts and test schedules
* Review and analyze CAE data, test data and parts
* Lead cross functional team through NVH development (CAE, D&R, Suppliers, Development Engineers)
* Manage Sign-off testing and reporting
* Monitor warranty and TGW data for emerging NVH issues
* Evaluate brake NVH performance on corner dynos, chassis dynos and vehicles
* Work with Core NVH activity to schedule dynos and maximize dyno up time
* Lead the brake NVH development activities for assigned program(s)
