In-Station Process Control & Test Systems Engineer
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced In-Station Process Control & Test Systems Engineer to support the implementation and execution of process control and testing systems across product development and manufacturing milestones. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, testing, and automotive manufacturing, with the ability to support testing strategies and system implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation and execution of in-station process control and testing systems.
- Lead diagnostics strategy and implementation for process control and testing systems.
- Support vehicle diagnostics and testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development and manufacturing milestones.
- Utilize reporting tools and documentation to monitor testing and process performance.
- Provide on-site plant support as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and wireless technologies.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based reporting systems.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of PFMEA and Failure Mode Avoidance principles.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and supplier project management.
- Product development experience with electrical systems, EDS, or module design.
- Product development experience with powertrain and chassis systems.
- Familiarity with IT plant infrastructure, including network design and server applications.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- End-of-line testing
- Electrical systems
- PLC/controls
- Factory Information Systems (FIS)
- Plant communications
- Wi‑Fi technologies
- Automotive manufacturing and product launch
- Mechanical and electrical systems engineering
