Municipal Engineer

As a member of our municipal team, responsibilities would include road, water, and sewer design knowledge. Reviewing design plan proposals for municipal and private clients, plan reviews and construction planning. The ideal candidate would have experience in stormwater management, drinking water and road asset management, and MDOT knowledge for design work with local agency projects.

Primary responsibilities for this role would include:

• Participates in job tasks from inception through completion, including conceptual and schematic design, construction documents, and contract administration.
• Fosters prospective and ongoing client relationships
• Communicates with clients to understand the needs, interests, and goals of each project.
• Researches current and pending changes and trends in the industry.
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and within established timeframe.
• Provides high quality and timely deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
• 3-5+ Years Experience
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Excellent technical writing skills for report preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including mentoring junior staff.
