In this position...

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for Inspection processes (AOI, AXI, cross sectioning, laser profiler, vision systems, etc.) for Power Electronics Manufacturing.

Power Electronics Manufacturing - Inspection Engineer

What you'll do...

* Lead the specification, procurement, build, installation and launch of Powertrain Production equipment related to Inspection of powertrain power electronics components.

* Develop and deliver standardized processes and equipment in line with global powertrain strategies.

* Develop and implement manufacturing process associated with Inspection of power electronics (AOI, AXI, cross sectioning, laser profiler, vision systems, etc.).

* Collaborate with Product Engineering to achieve product requirements that meet Manufacturing Design Specifications for power electronics with feasible expectations in the Engineering Specification (ES).

* Support the Prototype Engineering/Pilot Manufacturing process to determine feasible inspection solutions and methodology during the early stages of new programs.

* Troubleshoot production issues impacting FTT and warranty, determine corrective actions to the part, processes and/or equipment.

* Travel to supplier facilities and Ford Manufacturing plants will be required (10-30%)
