Compensation: $19 - $20 per hour
Duration: 6-8 week project
ABOUTTHE ROLE
Our client is seeking a driven and organized Asset Management & Controls Documentation Coordinator for a 6-8 week onsite project at large manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will support an equipment asset management and obsolescence initiative by identifying, capturing, organizing, and documenting equipment information and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing assets. This is not a highly technical position, but it requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a manufacturing environment.
You will interact with plant personnel and equipment vendors, manage and upload documentation, and ensure accurate records using Excel and asset management tools.
- Work onsite within manufacturing facilities to locate and document equipment and machine asset information.
- Support ongoing asset management and equipment obsolescence initiatives.
- Work from existing lists of machines and equipment to identify missing or incomplete Controls BOM information.
- Locate, scan, organize, and upload equipment BOMs and documentation into the team's system/dashboard.
- Capture Controls BOM information associated with equipment, including PLCs and PLC versions, electrical and electronic components, breakers, controls hardware, and other relevant machine components.
- Contact equipment vendors or internal plant personnel when documentation cannot be located onsite.
- Maintain accurate tracking of completed and outstanding equipment documentation.
- Use Excel to organize, track, and report asset information and project progress.
- Communicate regularly with the project team regarding findings, missing information, and progress.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently onsite in manufacturing facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry/document management.
- Comfortable approaching and collaborating with plant personnel and equipment vendors to obtain information.
- Ability to navigate large facilities and spend significant time locating equipment and gathering information.
- Persistent and resourceful in gathering and documenting information, especially when documentation is difficult to locate.
- Experience tracking and reporting project progress using asset management tools.
