Now Hiring: eDrive Product Engineer

Location:

Dearborn, MI (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in office)

Pay Rate: $42.31/hour

Ready to work on cutting-edge electric vehicle technology? We're seeking an experienced eDrive Product Engineer to support the development, industrialization, and launch of advanced inverter manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with automotive, manufacturing, or electrical assembly experience to contribute to high-impact electrification projects.

Job Duties
  • Develop and document inverter manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Create and maintain engineering specifications for assembly operations
  • Support production readiness and mass manufacturing implementation
  • Design and improve manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment
  • Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and process validation activities
  • Manage engineering deliverables, timing, costs, and issue tracking
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program teams
  • Maintain component BOMs and support engineering change management
  • Drive root cause analysis, FMEA, GD&T, SPC, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering/science field
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical module assembly or manufacturing engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
  • Experience with product development, validation, and industrialization processes
  • Ability to develop engineering specifications and manufacturing documentation
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as CATIA, NX, Creo, or Solid Works is preferred
  • Experience with DOE, FMEA, GD&T, SPC, and automotive manufacturing processes is highly desirable
