Job Title:
Functional Safety Engineer – Body, Steering Duration:
Long Term Contract Responsibilities
- Deliver Functional Safety work products including HARA, FSC, SRS and related safety engineering deliverables.
- Support impact analyses for assigned Body features and ensure safety implications are captured clearly.
- Collaborate with Feature Systems Engineers and Systems Simulation & Robustness Engineers to develop or merge Gherkin scenarios for safety and technical requirements.
- Support requirement refinement, traceability and technical alignment across the feature development lifecycle.
- Contribute to reviews and closure of Functional Safety actions with clear evidence and rationale.
- Functional Safety engineering experience for automotive embedded systems.
- ISO 26262 work-product knowledge, including HARA, FSC, SRS and FTA.
- Hands-on experience with Magic Draw, SysML, MBSE and Git Hub-based collaboration.
- Python scripting capability for analysis, checks or workflow efficiency.
- Ability to work closely with feature systems, software, validation and cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
