What you'll do...

The Ford Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team owns the forecasting, budgeting, and business planning processes enabling the executive team to navigate an evolving global landscape. We are a trusted business partner with work spanning across every region, segment, and function to help the Company meet its short and long-term targets.

You are joining the Corporate FP&A team at a pivotal moment. We are embarking on a multi-year journey to modernize the way we work. Working closely with the Director and Executive Director of FP&A, you will be an agent for change - identifying inefficiencies, challenging "the way we've always done it," and supporting the implementation of the next generation of forecasting tools, including EPM and AI.

You will also partner with existing team members to help them implement modernized solutions of their own to improve the way they work.

This is a unique role for someone who speaks "FP&A" but also thinks in "Data and Systems" with comfort in both hands-on work and project management.

In this position...

* Understand and document the end-to-end forecasting process and key supporting systems to identify synergies, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement

* Develop minimally viable products (MVPs) to test / pilot new technologies and new ways of doing our work (including driver-based forecasting) and partner with other teams to scale these new solutions as appropriate

* Provide guidance and coaching to the rest of the global FP&A team as we adopt new tools and software to level-up the entire organization

* Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in FP&A, applying this knowledge to our processes
