The tariff market is exceptionally volatile and constantly evolving, requiring continuous process establishment and refinement. This role will manage a substantial financial portfolio, including currently tracking authorized supplier claims equating to over $1 billion in value. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in establishing processes to track Tariff Credits.

You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters. Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford's industry leadership.
When you join us, you'll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution.
What you'll do...
* Lead the review, approval, and tracking of complex tariff-related supplier claims and credits, including in-depth analysis, data reconciliation, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
* Develop, define, and execute robust processes for managing tariff accruals, payments, and credit recovery, collaborating with operations, legal, and accounting teams.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting related to tariffs, including preparing and validating accruals, managing reconciliations, and providing detailed explanations for financial impacts.
* Serve as a critical financial resource for forecasting future tariff impacts and accruals, providing strategic financial leadership on potential tariff changes and ensuring optimal financial outcomes.
* Provide dedicated support to the operating team, actively participating in daily governance board meetings and aligning on resourcing and compliance efforts with suppliers to mitigate tariff impacts.
* Conduct timely and insightful ad hoc financial analysis related to tariff impacts, trends, and mitigation opportunities. Lead targeted projects such as impact analysis of policy changes, mitigation strategy evaluation, and supplier compliance reviews.
