Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

The Accountant will report to the Senior Financial Reporting & Tax Accountant and will play a key role in supporting Lupiya's finance function. The role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, monitoring of financial performance, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The Accountant will also contribute to effective cashflow management, audits, and planning processes to ensure the efficient use of the Company's resources in line with Lupiya's objectives.

• Manage daily banking activities and reconciliations.
• Monitor and forecast cashflow to support business operations.
• Oversee revenue collections and ensure timely recognition.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct quarterly financial reviews and variance analysis.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.

• Conduct research to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Support administrative and internal departmental requests.
• Participate in internal meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of finance-related meetings.

• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a financial institution or related industry.
• ACCA Applied Skills level qualified and registered with ZICA

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Practical experience with accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
