- Shape Ford's strategic investment and partnership activity globally, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
- Evaluate and execute strategic investments and partnerships aligned with Ford's broader strategy
- Lead cross-functional teams and project management activities
- Lead due diligence with target executive teams, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts
- Oversee detailed financial models and transaction valuation analyses
- Contribute to negotiation of transaction terms and legal documentation
- Create memorandums and presentations for senior management, C-level executives, and Ford's Board of Directors
- Maintain relationships with macroeconomic advisers, management consultants, accounting firms, and investment banks
- Enhance Corporate Development information sources, knowledge repositories, and processes
- Develop and maintain industry and competitive knowledge
- Apply shareholder value analysis to decisions and post-acquisition integration, including cost and revenue synergy monitoring
- Build risk management capabilities and incorporate what-if, scenario, and contingency planning
- Contribute to team member development and collaboration with skill teams and business units
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5-7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services, strategic management consulting and/or Corporate Development activities
- 5-7+ years of experience exhibiting exceptional financial analytical skills
- Master’s in Business Administration degree preferred
- Preference for automotive/technology experience during career
- Exposure to multiple companies and business models
- Experience in a multi-national corporate setting preferred
- Experience working on cross-functional and multi-department enterprise-wide projects
- Ability to operate independently under pressure with attention to detail
- Experience leading teams
- Ability to delegate effectively, manage performance, and develop others
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrates expertise in strategic investment evaluation, partnership development, and financial analysis within a corporate development context. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and enhance organizational knowledge and processes.
