Student Tech, Ultrasonographer PRN

Overview

Perform basic ultrasound procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered sonographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintain the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Obtains a complete patient history prior to performing an ultrasound procedure. Operates ultrasound equipment competently to provide quality diagnostic studies that meets the requirements of established ultrasound protocols.

• High school diploma Required
• 1 year of relevant experience Required
• Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program.
• BLS is required through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
