Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A growing 144-bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population.

Position SummaryThe Social Services Lead position reports to the Director of Clinical Services, and will assist with the following responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining the daily Assessments Audit, including monitoring the addition of new patients, ensuring timeliness of the Psychosocial Assessment & the Master Treatment Plan, and ensuring timeliness and completion of collateral contacts
- As needed, the Lead will assist with scheduling treatment teams for each unit, and ensuring the audit is updated to reflect master and updated treatment teams were held for respective patients.
- Assists with ensuring a timely and effective workflow with discharges, discharge planning, and pre-admits.
- Will back up the Director of Clinical services in their absence, ensuring assignments, groups, and discharges are completed as needed.
- Will assist in completing New Hire Orientation for new staff in the event the DSC is not able to.
- Assists with ensuring all utilization management request are completed in the chart in a timely manner.
These duties will fluctuate as needed, and additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate, based on the needs of the hospital, individual units, and staff.
