MSW Outpatient Services Clinician Pathways Community Mental Health

Deliver outpatient psychotherapy, intensive case management, or supports coordination services to adults, adolescents, children, and families. Core responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, assigning diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans through person-centered planning, monitoring client progress, and providing crisis intervention, individual, family, or group therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assessment & Care: Perform diagnostic evaluations, prepare comprehensive case histories and needs assessments, and formulate treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Caseload & Progress Monitoring: Maintain an active caseload, provide ongoing counseling and aftercare, regularly evaluate recipient progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Specialized Services: Deliver daytime crisis intervention, group therapy, and family or individual treatment; specialized population assignments may include adults, children, or adolescents.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Licensure: State of Michigan licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) required.
• Experience: Prior experience in professional human services preferred.
• Compensation: Specific salary range is dependent on license status.
