Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan preferred, or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start of the new school year
• Experience working with pediatric populations or school-based settings highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt and develop individualized strategies for a diverse caseload spanning grades K-12

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote students' independence and participation in educational activities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
