Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative School Psychologist to support students, families, and school teams in Michigan. This opportunity is open to candidates who are eligible to work as a Limited License School Psychologist in Michigan.

The School Psychologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a school psychologist seeking to build professional experience while working within the requirements of Michigan limited licensure.

• Conduct psycho educational assessments and assist with evaluations and reevaluations.
• Participate in eligibility determinations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Interpret assessment results and provide clear recommendations to school teams and families.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Support the development of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, evaluation reports, and student records.
• Follow district procedures as well as applicable state and federal special education requirements.

• Graduate-level preparation in school psychology from an appropriate school psychology program.
• Eligible for or currently holding a Michigan Limited License as a School Psychologist.
• Ability to practice in accordance with Michigan requirements applicable to limited-license school psychologists, including required supervision.
• Knowledge of psycho educational assessment, special education eligibility, IEP processes, and school-based interventions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
