As a Diagnostic Ultrasonographer, you'll provide advanced diagnostic imaging services that help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
What You'll DoAs a Diagnostic Ultrasonographer, you'll perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures while supporting exceptional patient care and imaging this role, you will:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders
Obtain high-quality images for physician interpretation
Assess patients and adapt imaging techniques to clinical needs
Communicate pertinent findings appropriately
Educate patients regarding procedures and expectations
Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas
Monitor inventory and equipment needs
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Appropriate sonography certification and/or registry credentials
Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care Preferred Qualities Hospital or outpatient imaging experience
Multi-specialty ultrasound experience
Strong critical thinking abilities
Team-oriented mindset
Passion for continuous learning

Ability to position and assist patients

Education, Certifications & Licensure Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
Current professional registry as required
Continuing education required to maintain credentials
Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area
