As an Events Coordinator at Marriott International, Inc in the Hospitality & Travel industry, you'll support the Event Operations & Coordination team to execute seamless meetings, conferences, and social events. You will manage event logistics from initial inquiry through post-event follow up, including room setups, catering details, audiovisual needs, and on-site coordination. Partner closely with sales, banquet, and front office teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and social events from inquiry to post-event follow up.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm requirements, timelines, room layouts, and event run-of-show.
  • Collaborate with sales, banquets, catering, and front office teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Prepare event orders, diagrams, and setup instructions for internal departments.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, breakdown, and real-time issue resolution.
  • Ensure accuracy of catering, audiovisual, and billing details in event systems.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat and group business.
  • Monitor event budgets and control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety, and service protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of event processes and guest satisfaction scores.
