The Senior Manager, Global Organizational Development is responsible for employee engagement projects, leadership development design and delivery across the organization. This role is responsible for caring for the employee experience and building strong leaders who are aligned with our company values; therefore, a Values Champion is a must. The role will work closely with our talent acquisition teams and hiring managers to advise/consult on ways to identify leaders who exemplify servant leadership, creating a culture of service.
This role will support the lifeline of the employee and leadership experience – sourcing, hiring, onboarding, training, continued culture alignment, employee engagement, and growth opportunities.
A successful Senior Manager is confident in an entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to bring in and build strong cross‑functional relationships, lead diverse delivery team initiatives/projects, develop and execute practice initiatives and contribute to thought leadership.
Responsibilities- Plan and develop enterprise training programs i.e. Oracle Cloud, SP, etc.
- Plan, organize, and oversee company wide DE&I efforts
- Plan, organize, and oversee all employee onboarding (including internal promotions) activities post‑offer, including, but not limited to Enboarder communications/workflows, Trainual curriculum, Week 1 facilitation, etc. Work with hiring managers to create customized experiences based on role
- Plan, organize and oversee employee incentive programs i.e. Perci Perks (employee incentive program)
- Oversee Percepta College – Percepta product owner for LMS
- Create plan for organizational wide use and adoption
- Develop learning programs for managers and above
- Manage Employee Engagement Specialists and Leadership Development Specialists – development plans, coaching, daily support as needed
- Subject matter expert (SME) on leadership roles – understand functions, leadership opportunities, and on‑the‑job training needed – focus on onboarding and leadership development for most functions – this will be a key initiative in first 90 days in the role
- Company culture and values SME – find ways to weave in values and measure across the organization
- Manage OD budget – this includes Leadership Development and Employee Engagement
- Speak Up! Survey oversight – works with HR business intelligence and communications to deliver, analyse, and create action plans for improved employee experience
- Consult with Talent Acquisition re: leadership hiring profiles, utilising performance and values data available, assisting the company in making the best hiring decisions, internally and externally
- Develop and Deliver Training Experiences
- Design and deliver a consistent Leadership Foundations experience – focus on servant leadership, personal leadership style/commitment to team, Percepta values, communications and prioritisation
- Design and deliver a consistent Advanced Leadership experience – focus on coaching, staff development, company strategy, and communications (partner with Brand and Comms Manager on communications content)
- Design and deliver Operational Just‑in‑Time content – this is process and job‑related training at the operational supervisor level
- Design and deliver annual leadership training workshop – may be a remote experience
- Serves as coach to key leaders in the organization – Strategy, Values, and Culture Champion
- Use project management methodology to define scope, timeline, costs, risks – project plans needed for all new launches and training workshops
- Identify costs and manage budget for any leadership training needs
- Evaluate and measure the results of leadership training programmes
- Delivery Train the Trainer to operational delivery partners
- Identify when and where facilitator‑led training vs. e‑learning provides the best learning experience – must be able to design both as needed
- Partner with Brand Comms Manager to develop and distribute communications that support leadership initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Business, Education, Psychology)
- 10+ years of work experience in a related field (Learning & Development, Talent Management, Leadership…
