Job Overview
Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building and deploying cloud-based infrastructure and managed services to achieve scalability, flexibility and cost efficiencies for private and public cloud systems that support the business. They focus on creating opinionated cloud environments and systems such as Storage as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service that serve as building blocks for other enterprise and product teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy various opinionated cloud environments and platforms aligned with enterprise architecture and security requirements while meeting the business‑critical needs of internal customers.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, solution architects, product teams, etc., to design, build, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the company’s scalability, availability, performance, and security goals.
- Monitor system usage to predict future needs and ensure that IT resources scale appropriately.
- Develop automation scripts and IaC templates for configuring and provisioning complex cloud resources including identity services, virtual private cloud, gateways, SSL, Kubernetes clusters, No
SQL data stores, etc. - Integrate enterprise security and disaster recovery policies into cloud infrastructure configurations, ensuring data protection and retention practices comply with industry regulations.
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud‑based storage solutions to ensure data availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in executing technology strategy and implementing engineering roadmaps, including optimizing cloud expenditure, maximizing resource usage, and ensuring high availability across required geographic regions.
- Evaluate new and emerging cloud technologies for incorporation into existing systems and support modernization efforts to prioritize and execute migrations of on‑premises services to cloud systems.

- Experience with at least one coding language or framework.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Design, develop, and deploy Open Shift Container Application environments to run middleware services, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance of message flow integration solutions.
- Design and implement robust, scalable messaging middleware solutions primarily within cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop message integration with GCP services such as Pub/Sub and Dataflow with internal and external partner applications.
- Design, deploy, and secure REST API and SOAP/XML Web services with OAuth and mTLS.
- Develop message flows with ingest/push messages between source and sink.
- Map input and output based on schemas and configure message routing based on content.
- Ensure overall quality of integration solutions throughout the development lifecycle, from message conversion to flow deployment.
- Configure application monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience in software development primarily focused on Java, Spring Boot, and other open‑source technologies.
- Expertise in deploying container solutions in Open Shift clusters.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton).
- Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Apigee, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks/Schedulers, GKE.
- Knowledge of SQL and No‑SQL databases, including cloud native ones such as Cloud SQL (Postgre
SQL) and Big Query. - Experience with Agile product management tools like JIRA.
- Experience with collaborative tools such as Git Hub and Bitbucket.
- Experience configuring application monitoring with Dynatrace, logging with Splunk.
