We are looking for an Embedded Dev Ops Specialist who will act as a hands‑on platform owner responsible for building, scaling, and operating Dev Ops tooling and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes cloud‑native services, CI/CD excellence, and infrastructure automation with a focus on reliability, security, and deployment speed. This role requires expert‑level Dev Ops experience and is not intended for early‑career or support‑only profiles.
Responsibilities- Serve as technical owner for Dev Ops tooling, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure supporting multiple environments (sandbox, test, production).
- Design and maintain Cloud Run‑based deployment architectures, ensuring reliability, scalability, and secure access.
- Architect and manage Jenkins‑based CI/CD platforms, including controller upgrades and distributed build execution on GCP.
- Lead Terraform‑based infrastructure automation, including module design, deployment workflows, and error remediation.
- Build and maintain secure container pipelines, from source to Artifact Registry to runtime.
- Continuously improve CI/CD cycle time while mitigating deployment and rollback risks.
- Identify automation opportunities across the software delivery lifecycle and lead implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex failures across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, networking, and runtime layers.
- Partner with development, security, and operations teams to align Dev Ops practices with enterprise standards.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 7+ years in a relevant field, demonstrating substantial knowledge in Dev Ops practices and tools.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with GCP (Cloud Run, Load Balancer, Artifact Registry), Jenkins (Controller deployment, version upgrades, dynamic build nodes), Terraform (Module writing, error debugging), Containers (Building, writing, and deploying containers).
Experience Preferred
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
- Google Compute Engine: VM creation, maintenance, debugging, Terraform deployment, and Packer image building.
- Google Kubernetes Engine:
Namespace maintenance, code deployment, and Helm chart usage. - Google Networking:
Debugging proxy issues, load balancer issues, and network endpoint groups.
Education Required
- Bachelor's Degree.
