In this position...

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and collaborative Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Aurora. This pivotal role acts as a crucial link across skill teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing & Sales, PD, IT, Finance, etc.) and our IT partners. In this role, you will:

• Act as the "Voice of the Customer":
  Bridge the gap between IT and skill teams, transcending business and IT perspectives to translate complex needs into technical solutions.
• Lead System Evolution:
  Drive process design, coordinate system changes, and spearhead testing for SAP Ariba and related procurement platforms.
• Provide SME Expertise:
  Support user queries, ensure robust audit compliance, and champion user adoption.
• Navigate Complexity & Influence:
  Thrive in "white space" environments by leveraging strong communication skills to present to leadership, managing shifting priorities with an open mind, and using critical thinking to drive change.

What you’ll do...

• Strategic Liaison & Requirements:
  Act as the primary liaison and "voice of the customer" between business stakeholders and IT; translate complex needs into functional requirements for SAP Ariba and related procurement systems.
• System Evolution & Testing:
  Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of process design and system enhancements, including requirement documentation, coordinating cross-functional changes, and spearheading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• SME & User Support:
  Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced user support, develop comprehensive training materials, and identify scalable solutions for recurring system issues.
• Process Optimization:
  Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and facilitating workshops to gain consensus on innovative, system-based solutions.
• Data & Compliance:
  Utilize data analysis to provide critical business insights and maintain robust audit compliance, documentation, and internal controls.

You’ll have...

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 + years of experience in Indirect procurement, either as a buyer or a user involved in the procurement process.
• 1+ year experience in business systems analysis and process mapping (e.g., Visio, Miro, or similar mapping tools)
• Availability to work hybrid (4 days in Dearborn & 1 day optional remote)
