Infrastructure Support Analyst
Location: Dearborn, MI 48120
Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days onsite
Pay Rate: Up to $40.45/hour, depending on experience and chosen benefits
The Infrastructure Support Analyst will support enterprise Storage as a Service (StaaS) and Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS) offerings. This role partners closely with infrastructure, server, and vendor teams to support planning, asset management, financial tracking, and day-to-day operational activities across a global storage environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support planning, tracking, and execution of work using Jira, including Epics, User Stories, and Tasks
- Assist with asset management activities, including leasing, service contracts, and lifecycle tracking
- Contribute to current and future planning initiatives supporting the global expansion and evolution of storage services
- Support installation of new storage hardware and removal of end-of-life equipment
- Assist with planning and installing fiber connections to new storage devices and completing connectivity requests originating from server teams
- Perform ongoing troubleshooting within a server-connected storage environment
- Support financial tracking, capacity planning, and reporting activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for storage installations, decommissions, and hardware refreshes
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate-level IT experience (2+ years)
- Experience using Jira for planning, tracking, and task management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings to leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity
- Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, or project management processes
- Familiarity with data center layouts, access procedures, and operational standards
- Understanding of storage fiber infrastructure, including fiber optic connections and Cisco MDS switches
- Experience coordinating installation and decommissioning of storage devices
- Familiarity with vendor power and connectivity requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
