We are seeking an AEM DAM Implementation & Asset Migration Specialist to support the implementation of an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Digital Asset Management platform. This role will focus on configuring the DAM repository, migrating existing digital assets, organizing metadata structures, and ensuring assets are properly indexed, tagged, and accessible for enterprise users.
The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience with AEM Assets, asset ingestion pipelines, metadata schemas, and large‑scale content migrations.
This role will collaborate closely with developers, marketing teams, content managers, and system administrators to ensure assets are migrated, structured, and optimized for discoverability and reuse.
Key ResponsibilitiesDAM Repository Setup
- Configure and maintain AEM DAM folder structures and asset repositories.
- Implement metadata schemas, tagging frameworks, and asset taxonomy.
- Configure asset processing workflows including renditions and metadata extraction.
- Set up permissions and user access controls for DAM assets.
- Ensure assets are organized to support enterprise search and reuse.
- Plan and execute large‑scale migration of digital assets into AEM DAM.
- Clean, normalize, and organize assets prior to migration.
- Map legacy metadata fields to AEM metadata schema.
- Validate asset integrity and metadata accuracy post migration.
- Develop and run bulk asset ingestion scripts or migration tools.
- Configure renditions, image profiles, and asset processing workflows.
- Ensure images, videos, and documents meet performance and delivery standards.
- Support integration with Dynamic Media or Asset Compute Service where applicable.
- Implement naming conventions, taxonomy standards, and metadata best practices.
- Ensure DAM structure aligns with content lifecycle and governance policies.
- Document DAM usage guidelines and asset management processes.
- Work with development teams to support AEM DAM integrations with CMS and other systems.
- Assist stakeholders in locating, tagging, and organizing assets.
- Troubleshoot DAM ingestion issues and workflow failures.
- Provide support during testing, UAT, and asset validation.
- 3+ years experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Hands‑on experience with AEM Assets / DAM implementation.
- Knowledge of metadata schemas, tagging strategies, and taxonomy structures.
- Experience using bulk asset ingestion tools or APIs.
- Familiarity with asset workflows, renditions, and processing profiles.
- Understanding of content governance and digital asset lifecycle management.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Experience with Dynamic Media or Scene
7. - Experience with Asset Compute Service.
- Familiarity with automation scripts for migration (Groovy, Node, Python).
- Experience integrating DAM with CMS, marketing automation, or search platforms.
