Job Description

In this position, you will serve as the Salesforce Implementation and Integration Lead for Ford Energy IT. Your role blends functional delivery and technical orchestration of our core sales and service platform, ensuring seamless integration with Ford Energy’s broader enterprise ecosystem.

You will act as the recognized technical authority for establishing Salesforce capabilities while coordinating cross‑team collaboration, mentoring peers, and driving architectural consensus across multiple IT and engineering teams. The position requires strong engagement with business leaders, external System Integrator partners, ERP, and middleware teams to design and execute robust, real‑time integration architectures.

• Functional delivery and business alignment – translate customer journeys and operational workflows into scalable Salesforce requirements.
• System Integrator (SI) management – serve as the primary technical lead coordinating external SI deliverables to meet quality, timeline, and security standards.
• Strategy and policy execution – interpret, administer, and enforce IT policies, establish performance standards, and manage project budgets.
• ERP and systems integration – collaborate with ERP IT leads to design and implement critical data flows and advise senior IT leadership on integration roadmaps.
• Integration architecture – define and govern API strategies, data synchronization rules, and integration patterns using enterprise middleware.
• Technical governance – enforce Salesforce best practices, prioritize out‑of‑the‑box configuration, and mitigate architectural risks.
• Release coordination and operational resilience – oversee environment management, CI/CD pipelines, end‑to‑end testing, and develop preventative measures to ensure zero disruption to core operations.

Required:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• IT delivery experience: 6+ years focused on enterprise software implementations and systems integration.
• Salesforce leadership: 3+ years of hands‑on experience leading Salesforce implementations.
• SI coordination: proven track record of managing and coordinating external System Integrator teams.
• Integration design: extensive experience designing and coordinating Salesforce‑to‑ERP integrations.
