The Test Tool Technician will provide dedicated technical support to the V&V Operational Support and Hardware (VVOSH) team, contributing to the procurement, assembly, preparation, validation, and distribution of vehicle state simulation and display virtualization testing tools. The role focuses on the end‑to‑end delivery and support of test environments and hardware systems.

• Procure, assemble, prepare, validate, and distribute test tool environments.
• Perform aluminum frame/bench assembly and hardware installation.
• Install and integrate wiring harnesses, ECUs, and test equipment.
• Set up and configure vehicle state simulation and display virtualization test benches.
• Prepare and validate test environments before deployment to end users and lab environments.

• Provide technical support for tool-related issues and user blockers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tickets logged in Jira Service Management.
• Perform maintenance and repair activities on test benches and hardware tools.
• Support operational activities to ensure minimal downtime of test environments.

• Maintain inventory of test tools, hardware components, and lab equipment.
• Ensure orderly management, organization, and cleanliness of the development lab.
• Track hardware deliverables and assets using proprietary distribution and asset‑tracking tools.
• Support the preparation and distribution of hardware components, including ECUs, patch harnesses, and off‑the‑shelf tools.

• Hardware procurement, assembly, preparation, validation, and distribution of:
  • Electronic Control Units (ECUs)
  • Patch harnesses
  • Test benches and virtualization tools
  • Off‑the‑shelf tools and enabling hardware
• Software‑related activities including:
  • Flashing and configuration of hardware components
  • Functional testing and validation of test environments
• Track deliverables through Jira and maintain accurate documentation.

• Experience with bench installation and aluminum frame assembly.
• Hands‑on experience with wiring harness installation and electrical integration.
• Familiarity with ECUs, hardware testing, and validation processes.
• Experience in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Jira or similar ticket management systems.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a laboratory and operational support environment.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
