Data Analyst, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Ford is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled specialist to join the Product Definition Team within Ford’s Vehicle Program Management Team and contribute to the success of our innovation lab. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in product & program management technologies, analytical skills, an understanding of innovation processes, and proficiency in programming and PLM systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for articulating abstract concepts, performing digital mockups, and creating visual storyboards and demos utilizing the innovation lab technologies.
WhatYou'll Do
- Understand complex/abstract concepts and ideate within a team environment.
- Visualize future state solutions, methods, and product architectures using paper model.
- Translate paper model concepts into innovation lab solutions/prototype utilizing out-of-the-box tools.
- Evaluate and validate concepts and provide fit-gap analysis between abstract and out-of-the-box solutions and provide recommendations.
- Create visual storyboards and demos for the leadership team.
- Own and maintain the team's 3DX environment, ensuring its availability and optimal performance.
- Build prototype solutions in 3DX based on concepts and ideas generated by the team.
- Analyze current state processes, procedures, tools & datasets to identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in our product definition processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in product management, or process engineering.
- Program Management Application experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Story Boarding & White Boarding skills.
- PLM training experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++.
- Comfortable voicing opinions and sharing innovative concepts within a team setting.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and One Note to communicate in a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel (with VBA) and other data management tools.
- Experience in a similar innovation lab environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Understanding of downstream consumption of product & program data (ERP, CPQ, & ALM).
- Knowledge of Jira & Confluence.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Dassault Systems certification (e.g., Catia, 3DXperience).

This position is a salary grade 5 to salary grade 8 and ranges from $65,100 to $166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
