Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into technical solutions.

• Responsible for application design, installation, configuration, and development support activities for: B2
  
  Bi applications, Web applications, Mainframe applications
• Demonstrate a strong level of expertise in one or more technical environments, including software packages, programming languages, databases, operating systems
• Maintain a solid knowledge of EDI solutions
• Own the quality of solutions across each environment and for each trading partner
• Coordinate with related work streams and teams, including infrastructure teams, Ford Customer Service Division, Manufacturing teams
• Perform systems tuning and diagnostics across UNIX, Linux, Windows platforms

• 5+ years of experience across a wide range of supply chain management business areas, including system development, business intelligence, business processes, customer relations
• 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration, Middleware, other integration technologies
• 5+ years of experience with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, network connectivity, communication protocols
• Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, UNIX, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, MQ Series

• SQL Server

• Senior Associate level with 6–10 years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of focused experience in Solution Architecture, Unix, Network Protocols & Standards, Session Initiation Protocols, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), EDI mapping tools

• Familiarity with Web applications, Mainframe applications, Mainframe Systems

• Bachelor's Degree

• Hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite required
• The hiring manager is specifically seeking an EDI Architect
• Candidates submitted as EDI Mappers often do not meet requirements
• The role is not limited to data conversion work
• The requirement is for a professional who can handle the full scope of EDI architecture

• A senior IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, managing EDI system integrations
• These systems enable businesses to electronically exchange critical documents, including invoices, purchase orders, shipping notices
• Integrations are performed with partners, suppliers, customers
