We are building a cloud‑native platform that supports millions of connected vehicles worldwide. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation tooling, control plane infrastructure, and cloud‑native services to enable rapid, multi‑shard deployment and a future GCP migration.

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud platform automation tooling for our platform transformation.
• Build cloud‑native solutions that support automated, repeatable shard provisioning, including cluster bootstrapping, network configuration, service mesh setup, and health validation.
• Develop control‑plane tooling that provision new shards and bring traffic online in under 24 hours with zero manual steps.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi‑cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
• Maintain Git Ops‑driven workflows (Atlantis or similar) with code review, testing, and audit trails before production deployment.
• Provision, manage, and automate Kubernetes cluster lifecycle for EKS and GKE.
• Write Helm charts for multi‑shard deployments and configure Istio service mesh, including traffic management, mTLS enforcement, and observability.
• Build and operate GCP‑native components such as GKE workloads, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, workload identity federation, and VPC‑SC perimeter controls.
• Configure and operate API gateway infrastructure (Tyk, Apigee, or NGINX) with routing policies, mTLS, rate limiting, and SLI/SLO metric replication.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Tekton, or Concourse) and automate deployment gates for reliable shard migrations.

• Implement IAM best practices across AWS and GCP, including role isolation, least‑privilege access, and automated access reviews.
• Build monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Cloud Operations) for real‑time shard health visibility.
• Write automation scripts and internal tools (Python, Go, Bash, Node.js) to optimize platform workflows.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and apply SRE principles for system resilience.

• Proven experience provisioning and managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS or GKE) in production.
• 3+ years managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong Terraform skills, writing modular, production‑grade IaC with Git Ops workflows.
• Experience with Helm for packaging and deploying multi‑environment Kubernetes workloads.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills for cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or equivalent).

• GCP experience: GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, workload identity, VPC‑SC, Cloud Operations.
• API gateway experience:
  Tyk, Apigee, or NGINX (routing, policy management, mTLS, SLI replication).
• Service mesh experience:
  Istio traffic management, mTLS, and observability.
• gRPC service design and protobuf schema management.
• CI/CD platforms:
  ArgoCD, Tekton, Concourse, or similar Git Ops tooling.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Go, Java (Spring Boot), or Node.js.
• Security: IAM role isolation, mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, securing multi‑cloud environments at scale.
• Collaborative Terraform workflows (Atlantis, Terragrunt, or similar).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software or cloud engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience shipping and operating production infrastructure at scale.
