Data Architect Lead Consultant

We are currently seeking a Data Architect Lead Consultant to join our team in Auburn Hills, Michigan (US-MI), United States (US).

The Senior Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions within Business Intelligence and Data Management software and hardware to meet business requests. The ideal candidate should be able to create data solutions leveraging Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Warehouse (DW) technologies. This role will work under the direct leadership of the Senior Manager for Enterprise Data Architecture.

Knowledge of industry‑standard Business Intelligence software and Data Integration Management technologies is required.

• Must be self‑motivated and able to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong business and technical verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience creating metrics and dashboard analytics.
• Strong working knowledge of different analysis tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and creativity in developing and implementing solutions for complex problems on medium‑size projects.
• Strong SQL skills.

• Architect and design business intelligence solutions for accessing and analyzing data and metadata.
• Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Data Mart, and Operational Data Store (ODS) architectures.
• Expertise in data modeling, including star, snowflake, and other dimensional modeling techniques.
• Experience architecting and developing database solutions using both OLAP and OLTP technologies.
• Extensive experience in architecture, data modeling, design, development, data migration, and data integration throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in and/or lead design sessions, demonstrations, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops with business users and IT associates.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Support business projects by providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in Enterprise Data Management.

• 7 years of IT experience architecting solutions using Business Intelligence reporting and development tools such as:
  • SAP Business Objects
  • Qlik View
  • SAS
  • Oracle Hyperion Essbase
• 7 years of experience with Application Architecture
• 7 years of experience with Data Warehousing
• 7 years of experience with Master Data Management (IBM Info Sphere or Informatica MDM)
• 7 years of experience with data modeling.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.

-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $70/hr to $80/hr. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
