The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a lab environment, performing hardware fabrication and integration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and scripting, while also supporting the execution and automation of testing activities.

This position is highly hands‑on, and on‑site lab support is a core responsibility of the role.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in automotive test environments, hardware troubleshooting, vehicle networking, and automation support.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of automotive test laboratory equipment and infrastructure.
  • Perform hands‑on hardware fabrication, assembly, wiring, and integration for test setups and benches.
  • Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures, harnesses, adapters, and other lab hardware as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment, benches, computers, network equipment, and other lab infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and connectivity issues affecting test execution.
  • Configure and maintain test environments, including PCs, embedded systems, measurement equipment, and automotive interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and other automation utilities to support testing, diagnostics, data collection, and lab activities.
  • Execute automated and manual tests and support the investigation of test failures.
  • Analyze logs and test results to identify root causes and distinguish between software, hardware, and infrastructure issues.
  • Support the integration and configuration of automotive communication and test equipment such as CAN/CAN FD and other relevant interfaces.
  • Collaborate with test engineers, developers, and other technical teams to resolve issues and maintain test environments.
  • Document lab configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance activities.
  • Support the setup and deployment of new test benches and laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and operational lab environment.
  • Provide on‑site technical support for urgent lab and test infrastructure issues.
Mandatory Skills

Description:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer - Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands‑on experience working in a laboratory, test bench, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
  • Experience with hardware assembly, wiring, fabrication, modification, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of physical equipment.
