We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on‑time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

In this position

We are seeking a highly adaptable, data‑driven, and proactive professional to join our team as the Indirect Program Strategy & Analytics Lead. This is a high‑visibility, “dual‑hat” role that combines strategic operational excellence with hands‑on sourcing execution.

You will lead the development of the Indirect Program Management Process, leveraging advanced data analytics and Power BI to build robust dashboards that communicate the health, spend, and milestones of indirect programs to top‑level leadership. Simultaneously, you will drive project management for key initiatives and serve as an indirect program buyer when required—ensuring the on‑time sourcing of indirect goods and services.

This role offers a unique runway for career growth, strategic influence, and immediate business impact.

What You’ll Do Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (High Emphasis)
  • Dashboards & Visualization:
Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards and data analytic tools to track procurement metrics, program health, and sourcing status.
  • Data‑Driven Insights:
Collect, cleanse, and analyze complex spending patterns, supplier performance, and KPI data to identify areas for category consolidation, cost savings, and process improvement.
  • Leadership Reporting:
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights and high‑impact visual decks to present the overall health of indirect programs to executive leadership.
  • Tool Digitization:
Drive the modernization and digitization of Category Business Plans and sourcing forum insights to foster organizational learning and efficiency.
Program & Project Management (High Emphasis)
  • Milestone Ownership:
Own the creation, tracking, and maintenance of standard blocked timing, milestones, and project timelines for indirect programs.
  • Risk Mitigation:
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate supply‑chain and project risks to ensure all procurement activities meet strict program milestones for Ford Energy.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment:
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams early in the program lifecycle to align stakeholder requirements and ensure timely integration.
  • Transformation Initiatives:
Lead and participate in cross‑functional task forces (e.g., new ERP system rollouts, process standardization, and business operations improvements) keeping deliverables on scope, schedule, and budget.
Sourcing Execution & Supplier Management (Dual‑Hat Procurement)
  • On‑time Sourcing:
Support the program management team to ensure the on‑time sourcing of indirect purchasing categories for different Ford Energy Programs.
  • Supplier Performance:
Track supplier performance across quality, delivery, and cost metrics, implementing corrective actions and managing supplier relationships to maximize leverage and quality.
  • Systems & Compliance:
Utilize and support the implementation of the Purchasing iERP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for the BOBM.
You'll Have Minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in indirect purchasing, supply chain, or project management (preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment).
