As an Outpatient CDI Outsourcing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Responsibilities- Provide overall operational leadership for assigned outsourced outpatient CDI engagements (supplemental and total outsource). Partner with Consulting Services to support revenue goals and client satisfaction. Serve as a primary escalation point for performance, quality, and vendor‑related issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence & Performance Management Ensure outpatient CDI operations meet or exceed quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets. Continuously monitor operational metrics, trends, and KPIs; identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement corrective action plans for performance gaps or compliance concerns.
- Ensure adherence to ICD‑10‑CM/CPT guidelines, APC methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- People Leadership & Development Directly lead and supervise assigned outpatient CDI staff. Provide coaching, mentoring, training, and performance feedback to support professional growth. Allocate work assignments, monitor progress toward objectives, and conduct performance evaluations. Manage employee‑related processes including compensation input, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
- Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with corporate policies, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Address policy violations promptly and consistently. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university with (7) seven years of experience in outpatient CDI management in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND (12) twelve years of experience in outpatient CDI management experience in a private,…
