As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. The successful candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning & strategy and extensive experience leading programs through program approval. Responsibilities include project management, data-driven analysis and cross functional engagement with vehicle programs and manufacturing engineering (stamping, body, paint, final assembly, IE, MP&L, Ford Land).
The role requires quantifying manufacturing costs for vehicle programs and translating technical findings into clear financial insights.
Key areas include:
- serving as direct interface with vehicle program planning and manufacturing skill teams on advanced product program analysis and milestone studies;
- conducting financial analysis of strategic sourcing to support decision making.
What you'll do:
- Deliver vehicle program milestone cost studies on time, translating data into a comprehensive financial analysis and insights.
- Achieve manufacturing investment and variable costs at or below program target. Ability to explain exceptions and develop work plans to recover as required.
- Complete study results in GMOD system and develop presentations for manufacturing leadership reviews with appropriate messaging.
- Clear and concise communication with manufacturing study team to meet cost study and q-form deadlines.
- Lead the manufacturing study team in weekly MPAT and promote open communication and issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc, Engineering or BBA, Business Administration
- 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Strategy & Planning
- Demonstrated Leadership Behaviors, Ford Experience preferred
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience conducting financial analyses

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
