What You’ll Do
  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, and Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.
Required Behaviors
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
  • Two‑way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers.
  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer‑first mindset.

  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.
  • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 + years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft:
    Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
Even better, you may have
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Safety and quality experience.
  • Six Sigma:
    Black or Green Belt certified.
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles.
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce.
  • Stamping experience.

This position is a salary grade 6‑7 – from $72,480 to $141,360.
