Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement of raw materials to and from different departments and process areas, scanning and stocking materials, and following the processes described by job/work instructions. You will report to the Production Supervisors.

• Safely operate a Fork Truck/Hi‑Lo to move product throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Stock raw material, move completed material to storage or shipping locations, and stock line‑side rack.
• Work within different departments as directed.
• Sort, organize, arrange, and store dunnage returned from customers.
• Move raw goods to and from inventory locations to points of use.
• Move in‑process product among work centers.
• Load bins and bin contents into production lines.
• Electronically locate and transfer raw goods and finished product using handheld scanners.
• Assemble raw goods such as boxes and spools.
• Report any incidents involving fork truck/hi‑lo accidents promptly to supervisor or SHEQ.

• 1 year of Material Handling experience preferred, including fork truck driving experience.
• Understanding that safety and quality come first.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferable manufacturing or warehouse environment experience of 1 year or more.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift and move materials, up to 50 lbs., regularly throughout the workday.
